No apology required. You don't care; thanks for the apathy.

However, I do care whether it's appropriate in a civilized society to play with your genitalia in public. Further, I think any but the most apathetic would see such behavior as infantile, at best, and lewd, at worst.

Further, Lynch's behavior and attitudes are wildly inconsistent:

On one hand, he says 'I don't won't to play the media game, that invades my personal space somehow (too shy, maybe?), just let my play speak for itself'. On the other hand, he crosses the goal line and uses the platform of central attention to point at his penis - how puerile.

Such abject immaturity shouldn't be celebrated, condoned, or coddled. JMO, bro - try your best to assail.

I don't really care about his antics with the media, although I don't find it funny. But the fact that he wanted to wear gold cleats and was only talked out of it because he would have been suspended for the Superbowl shows that he does care about standing out. But it's still not a big deal.

Shouldn't get flagged for shite like that. However he's the best borderline retarded athlete ive ever seen.

Like most talented people, he gets away with being "different" and kind of an a-hole.

It must be shitty to be the guy who has to follow the rules in life and never questions them. Gotta get that 401k, boss.

He is held up to a certain standard of professionalism. I am sure you don't go around playing with your crotch during office meetings.

No one here is personally offended by the action. We just think he is a complete douche and has no respect for others.

Nice to see that you hate freedom.

Yours are consistently idiotic, so you two have that in common.

Being an uptight, freedom hating turd shouldn't be celebrated either.

Because of the crotch grabs and post-game interview tactics?

His lack of a relationship with the ultimate player's coach, his lack of respect to others, etc.

Lynch is hardly a beacon of morality. He is a shitty person. I do not know why you are reluctant to accept that.

It's not like he sponsors a charity for children or makes sure that all of these fines go to legit charities or anything.

He talks like a thug and grabs his crotch... HE MUST BE BAD!

You keep saying this. Is this based on his crotch grabs and post-game interview tactics? You're gonna have to bring more than that.

This is what I've gathered as the source of the Lynch hate in this thread:
1. He does not have a cozy relationship with Pete Carroll.
2. He grabs his nuts when taunting the defense.
3. He does not like talking to the media so he answers every question the exact same.
4. He does not like NFL uniform rules.

Am I missing anything?

See above question.

Because I don't make rash judgments about people that I've never met. You do. That's fine. We're just different.

Obviously, everything is from secondary accounts, but I have met a decent number of people who know him and have worked with him and his name is never brought up in a positive light (outside of his on-field success).

Is he a menace to society? No. However, he is just not a very nice or compatible person. Aka shitty person to be around

No one saw this coming.

I guess that settles it. Marshawn Lynch is a shitty person per someone VKC knows that worked with him. Case closed.

Obviously, nothing is definite, but the few players I have spoken with on an occasional basis do not like him and find hard to deal with.

Outside of obvious OT jokes (I make 11 figures working on oil rig or 30000 SAT score), I have no reason to lie on here. I am not trying to impress anyone. Everyone is just speaking from their personal knowledge and experience.

Wtf? Who are you trying to impress?

Try my best to assail?

What is going on? Am I still on tigerdroppings? What in the frick?

Take your uptight opinion and exaggeration someplace else. He wasn't playing with his balls. He wasn't whacking it in your damn trailer.

If this offends you; then that's a you problem, not a Lynch problem.

The fact you think being a professional athlete is equal to working in an office, wearing a suit and being a businessman is laughable.

His coach, boss if you will, wears a god damn hoodie. Where do you people come up with this stuff?

He pays his fines, what more do you want. He's not tarnishing the Shield's image with child and wife beaters running around. Rapists and fricking murderers.

In relation to some of these other guys he is a beacon of morality. The only thing he does wrong is grind your damn gears
