Also, does it have two small h and h markings on the inside of the trigger guard? If not, it's a fake, and I've seen this happen in the past.

well you would be wrong. If made after 1988 the slot on the screw in the receiver is gold inlayed. They stopped the H&H marking on the trigger guard in 1988.

Oh, those must be the new Japanese versions. You shouldn't have paid over $35k for that model. But, it should fetch $40k on today's market. Give it time.
