Holy crap. That was a fun ride.

I wasn't expecting much but I was thoroughly entertained.

Only thing I can complain about is the Bondian style villain capturing Wick instead of instantly putting 2 in his skull.

Also didn't buy Wick's reluctance to kill a woman. He sure had no problem killing 329 men. Plus she had no problem trying to put one is his skull so not sure why he didn't return the favor.

Other than that, no complaints.

Someone going to steal his rug that tied the room together for the sequel?

This was one of the worst movies I've ever watched to completion. The dude takes on the entire Russian mob over a puppy. I mean what a story. Oh and there is an exclusive club in a five star hotel just for hitmen.

Heck, not only entertaining but well directed.

Most directors today would have filled that movie with crappy shaky cam.

I loved that we were able to actually SEE the action. They went old school and used quality fight choreography instead of lazy arse shaky cam to hide shitty production values.

Then your opinion on movies is fricking awful. Great flick. Saw it IMAX. shite my pants during the action scenes. It is exactly what it should be: pure action with enough back story to see where the guy's motivations come from. And if you think it was just over a dog, you're an imbecile. Or being purposely obtuse.

I appreciated it for what it was, but I don't like action movies, so it wasn't that entertaining for me. I have recommended it to all of my friends who love action films.

Im a big dialogue guy. Very little of that in this one

It was innovative as well. I don't recall having seen a movie that used all of the close quarters handgun stuff that was used.

He was using the ancient art of Gunkata from the film Equilibrium.

I'm tough to please with straight action flicks, and REALLY liked this one. It also cracked me up that he shot almost everyone in the head. "Well, I've put three bullets in the guy's chest, but let me plug him in the head on his way down just to make sure." Was happy that the casting people raided a couple of great HBO shows.

Well, there's another recent action/drama that I would recommend avoiding, but giving the name of the movie would spoil the ending.

Actually looked for a good animated gif from Equilibrium but couldn't find one I liked.

I actually liked the whole concept of the underground assassin society. They all knew each other and had their own hotel and nightclub and they all used gold coins for currency. Plus the only cop in the movie just lets John go on killing a bunch of guys in his house like its no big deal. Its almost like the assassins ran that town.

I liked this movie. I wanted some action and I got a good dose of it. Never have I seen people roll around so much.
