All those HC's and always comes down to like the 4-6 same teams every year. I like this Thread where you learn something!

I would like someone to double check me, but I counted 15 separate teams who have reached Super Bowls since 2000.

Raiders
Pats
Seahawks
Saints
Buccaneers
Panthers
Broncos
Ravens
Bears
Colts
Giants
Eagles
Steelers
49ers
Packers

And the Rams and Titans played in the 1999-2000 season of the Super Bowl

The fact that the Niners let Harbaugh go tells me all I need to know about the competency of their organization

Especially when you consider that before the front office meddled like hell in the 2014 season, Harbaugh was 36-11 with conference championship appearances being the norm since the day he arrived.

Should we really be counting interim coaches though?

Ya but that's a well run organization with a hall of fame qb. Neither of which SF has at the moment.

Especially with the Saints deal with Vitter and Kromer. that's silly. We've had two since 2000.

There's been far less parity in the AFC. Not counting the outlier season of 2002 when the Raiders played in the Super Bowl, every year has featured the Ravens, Steelers, Colts or Patriots from 2000 to 2012.

2000 - Ravens
2001 - Patriots
2002 - Raiders
2003 - Patriots
2004 - Patriots
2005 - Steelers
2006 - Colts
2007 - Patriots
2008 - Steelers
2009 - Colts
2010 - Steelers
2011 - Patriots
2012 - Ravens
