She's the one who sang "Feeling Good on a Wednesday" for South Park (I am Lorde, YAYAYA)

I thought it was a funny episode. I really like this new cast. They are hitting their stride. Whenever they have a decent host it seem to turn into a great episode.

i thought every sketch was a great idea but few were actually flushed out in a funny manner.

i surprisingly really enjoyed Sia. She's very interesting. I didn't know she's almost 40. Beautiful voice.

It was a good episode, not great. That final sketch was too good to be put at 11:55.

Good god it wasn't great.

Ok at best. Weekend update and last sketch were best

Singer was ok. The 6'3 black chick might be the worst actress in SNL history

Kevin Hart was amazing last night. I feel like he was let down some by the writers, but James Brown, the last rap sketch, and the digital short were all good-great jobs by Hart. He brought real comedic energy. I was surprised at how comfortable he was. His little James Brown wiggle during the middle of that sketch made me laugh considerably.

Update was the best I'd seen since Che joined Jost as well. A little edgier and they actually let Che loose some.

Less and less Vanessa Bayer lately. I'm loving it.

Also about the musical performance the music video was made fun of on the Jim Carrey episode

I hadn't seen the video before seeing that skit, after seeing both, that was one of the funniest skits of the year.

Agreed. Horrible, horrible, horrible sketch performer. She struggles to present her diatribes on Weekend Update and that's in her own voice. In sketches, she drags them to a halt with her stilted delivery. The one wedding one she had with Martin Freeman was shocking in that she didn't completely ruin it, but that's been the lone bright spot in her sketch career.

They could have kept her in the writer's room and given her a WU rant occasionally but instead put her as a featured player. Not quite ready to be a not quite ready for primetime player.
