A comment about bama fan and tv star lucas black

This is a big deal to me. I want to no what u guys think. Ncis New Orleans tv show starring lucas black; on several occasions blacks character says "roll tide" and other bama sport fan references. The most recent episode has blacks character named Chris lasalle saying to his brother: " let's watch bama put a whoopin on lsu in basketball tonight" or something to that affect then he fist bumps his brother and says " roll tide" to end the show. This is a New Orleans show! A slap in the face to louisiana ! I won't believe for a million years that those words are in the script. I won't watch it again and I'm a huge ncis fan in general. Thoughts ?

Get over it seriously. Its entertainment, not a slap in the face to Louisiana. A few times in that show there's been back and forth between LSU and Bama added to the show as the characters are fans of both. I think it adds more reality to the show.

I realize it's just a tv show. However, we all know it's not scripted. He is making millions on a louisiana show. Cheap shot as I see it. Can't y'all give an opinion instead of worrying which board it on?

I wouldn't say New Orleans has been very kind to Bama as of late.
Off topic: The bellhop at the Roosevelt told me they love when the Tide fans comes to town; they spend lots of money and tip well. He said tOSU spends freely as well and was complimentary of Ole Miss tipping. Ditto Tennessee. Said the staff hates when any Florida team comes to Nola because they won't tip well. Wonder what's up with that?

I'm shocked! I can't believe this dies not piss off big time lsu fans. Of course all folks from Nola are lsu fans but the show is filmed 100 percent in louisiana. Btw I have watched every episode and have never heard good references about lsu. Saints a time or two

Louisiana is making a ton of money by having this show based in NOLA and you are worried about a second rate actor saying Roll Tide?
