35 Whelen Handi Rifle

Does anyone know if they still chamber the H&R Handi Rifle in 35 Whelen? Every where I have looked showed them out of stock like this chambering has been discontinued. Currently have a CVA but liked the H&R I had better.

They made them for sure in 35 whelen. Not sure if handi rifle discontinued that model or not. If you are located in BR go check Jim's, they always seem to have one on 35 whelen on the rack.

I dont believe they still make the Whelen in a Handi any more.There was talk on Graybeard that Remington was going to quit making the Handi Rifles.I hope thats not the case.They are great little guns for a reasonable price.I have 2 of them...a 45/70 and a 35 Whelen.

I bought a CVA Elite Stalker but liked the H&R way better. Guess I better try to run one down if I can. I finally found one on the Internet but it's a site I've never heard of.

Just checked the H & R website and they don't show a handi 35 Whelan. That's sucks.
