Ask for the crawfish bisque. If not in the menu, order any bisque available.
Their crawfish version is the best I've had.

Any oyster app if there's one offered.

The seafood platter/shell beach diet

banana bread pudding or pecan pie.

I love the place. You'll enjoy anything you order.

I follow him also. He's been putting up some nice photos. They oysters rock in the SOS shells looked so good. I wonder if he's doing those at the restaurant. It looked like those were done for some other function.

Nah... I have ate there probably close to 50 times over the years. There are about five maybe six better restaurants within walking distance from his front door. I mean it's not terrible just over rated. I would opt to go elsewhere if I was the OP.

Anything but the seafood platter. Everything is soaked in butter and devoid of any semblance of depth of flavor.

While I haven't been in a couple of years, I found the above to be somewhat accurate as far as flavor depth goes. However, their fried soft crab with the brown butter pecan sauce is one of my favorite dishes anywhere.

Let's be honest, these "I'm going to ________ restaurant, what should I get?" are complete shite and a waste of this board's times. Every single poster who makes a thread like this and doesn't come back to give their review should be banned. It's a 'look at me' thread without even anything to look at.

I'm going out for dinner. Well yay to you!

People who've also gone out to dinner at said establishment chime in on what they had, although they were probably smart enough to just read the fricking menu and decide on their own what they want.

I agree, but I don't think it's that much of a problem for bannage.

That's what I usually do.

Maybe, OP doesn't get a chance to dine out much and would be more comfortable having others demystify the menu and suggest what is good or bad.

We know that he isn't getting the seafood platter based on comments here. See, that's value right there.

Those that don't mind answering will do fine without your opinion or assistance.
