I'm starting to see mocks with us taking him in the first round. He has alot of hype surrounding him do to his massive size and athleticism, but the only game I caught was Ohio St. road grating their whole D-Line. Reasoning wise scouts seem to think he's the perfect compliment opposite of cam Jordan and because of his strength he will command lots of double teams which should free up Galette all day plus swatting passes in the middle of the line, giving the QB tough throws to make.

Any opinions on him?

No

Got manhandled by OSUs line. His height is a leverage disadvantage and he's not very fast off the line.

Also have other needs in firsf round that must be addressed

Ohio St. did have to adjust to him though. He made an impact on the first couple of drives. Ohio St. then started to run away from him and double team him in pass protection.

I would rather have a LB with the first pick but there are worst picks out there than him.

Arik is a Dutch name. And no one likes the Dutch.

That D-line would be fine rushing the passer and suck donkey balls at stopping the run.

I've seen all of his games, 1st is too early for him. He needs some work, aka another project player.

There are two things I can't stand. People who are intolerant of other people's cultures. And the Dutch...

I remember him from his recruitment he was pegged to be a future NFL all star at offensive tackle but he refused to move from defense where he played in high school he was going to USC but decided on Oregon when they promised him he could play DE. Anyway he would have been a fantastic LT.
