HBO just for Game of Thrones. The rest of the HBO original programming now is not that great. They need to start putting out more quality.

Good deal, looks like a pretty easy decision based on responses. Thanks.

If youre with cox they used to let me switch back and forth for no charge. Id change when a season of a show ended then watch the other show I wanted on the other channel.

ETA: This was between Sho and Starz my bad.
I always had HBO.

Hbo. Not even a debate.

Especially if it comes with HBOgo. Their catalogue of their previous shows is untouchable by anyone else

Shameless and Homeland are pretty damn good, but I would go with HBO. The backlog is fantastic. The Wire, Oz, Boardwalk Empire, Band of Brothers, The Sopranos, etc.

HBO . . . but gonna have to pick up Starz when the Evil Dead show comes out.

I did like Showtime in Californication's first few years.

I dunno. I like the other original programming. I think Silicon Valley is as funny as any show on TV, the times I've watched Veep, I laughed a lot. True Detective is coming back, that's worth a look.
HBO has a few good things on the horizon -- a Martin Scorsese/Mick Jagger produced series about the music business in the 70s, a Westworld series written by Christopher Nolan's brother, a show about retired athletes featuring the Rock, a remake of this cult British show Utopia directed by David Fincher and written by the woman who wrote Gone Girl.
