I've often wondered about this. If Eve wouldn't have eaten the apple, and if Adam wouldn't have allowed his wants to overcome him. Would we still be here today?

Yes, I get it. Most of the O-T ballers are too smart/good to believe in God.

It's a story. I went to Catholic school and they taught that it was a story.

Wait, so you're saying that a Catholic school taught it as a story and not non-fiction? That's a first in my book and I'm not even Catholic.

Same here, however the Brother that taught me in high school added "Fiction" to the story. He later left the brothers of Scared Heart to marry (a female).

I also went to a catholic school and was told this is just a story. The same way that Noah's ark is just a story.

Hmm..well I guess it's more of an open for interpretation type of thing.

You have to know the backstory in order to understand Adam & Eve

At first, the creator was alone. So he created the heavens in which the angels existed. One of those wanted to be as God. He had a following that thought so too. They were kicked out. The lead angel accused God of being too harsh

Enter Adam. Given free will to choose, as proof that lesser beings than angels could live to commune with the creator, and not choose to be a creator

Adam proved the point, but was lonely. The creator understood lonely. Enter Eve. She proved the angels point

Its been a point of contention ever since. Read the first chapter of Job to see the ongoing debate between the creator and the fallen

The purpose of life is a test to see whether you can choose to take the path of the original man, or the fallen man, because the creator is looking for those that will soothe his loneliness and yet not seek his omniscience

Without Adam and Eve there wouldn't have been original sin. If there was no original sin then you have to wonder if God would have sent his son to die on the cross because Jesus died for our sins.

Yes.......God knew how things were going to play out and he had a plan in place for when we screwed things up.

It will not be long the human race will know the TRUTH, which is GOD, btw, about all this. Our SOULS progress to higher dimensions. We are in the 3rd right now.
Evidence of this is the Jesus qoute: My father has many houses(mansions) in Heaven.
