Dorial Green-Beckham
6'6", 225 LBs

40 Time - 4.49
NFL Player Comparison - AJ Green

His hands are huge. Look at pic above and see how tiny the ball looks. Jesus, this guy will be a steal and we should chase him.

College Career (2 Seasons w/ Missouri)
87 Recs, 1,278 Yds, 17 TDs, 14.7 YPC

The New Orleans Saints need help on defense, however, the draft has not been good for us under Sean Payton when coming to defense.

53 Players drafted under Sean Payton
28 were Defensive Players
9 of them are no longer in the NFL
3 Total Pro Bowls (Roman Harper 2, Cameron Jordan 1)

Think about it...

We draft this guy and forget his off the field issues mainly because he has LEADERS in the locker room. Cleveland doesn't and JG is probably going to go elsewhere eventually.

DGB needs a leader to show him the ropes. Brees can be that guy before he retires. Payton can coach this kid too. Off the field issues just won't be much of a problem.

QB - Drew Brees
RB - Mark Ingram, Pierre Thomas
TE - Jimmy Graham
WR - Marques Colston, Kenny Stills, Brandin Cooks, Dorial Green-Beckham, Nick Toon

If he is still available after 7th pick, do what you have to do to get him.

I don't know if they could justify taking him as the first pick.

Knowing how the Saints operate if he's on their board at say 5 and then falls to us at 13 he will get a serious look.

This year was very anomalous. Our locker room is stronger than we showed this year.

Not sure what happened this season but not a single person in this forum knows what goes on behind the doors down there.

Anywho...

AJ Green makes Andy Dalton look good. Brees doesn't need DGB help but how much fun would it be to watch them two connect next season.

As for Colston...Bye Felicia

The guys a problem child and trading up to get him would be a mistake.
There are much more important positions to address.
I'd also be interested to see what the statistics are for players drafted nine years ago that are still in the league, offense or defense
You can make stats look however you want
I personally think having 19 of your 28 defensive selections still in the NFL is pretty solid but I could be off base. Just my opinion.

I agree that I'd much rather spend picks on weapons and linemen on offense. I'd like us to use fa for our 2nd corner and maybe get some lb/de help off cut heap.

Just no. DGB doesn't play defense.
