I watched a Wheeler Dealers with an manual E class, right seat driver, and realized I've never even seen a manual Merc. They made some C class ones recently, maybe up to 2012, and offered it in the SLK around that same timeline.

Anyone ever driven one? Neat rig?

I don't have any of her specifically, but this is pretty close. My girl isn't as in good of shape as this one, though.

I drove a piss yellow 81 300D when I turned 16. 0-60 in 25 seconds. So badass.

A lot of wagons with manuals as well. I would have killed for a manual 5 series wagon, but that just doesn't exist over here.

I love how the 'hips' of those old German cars were so low, and the windows were so tall. Here's my old 5 series, gigantic top of the cabin. Visibility was outstanding.

I use to work as a valet, I've driven a few of them. One lady use to come in this older C class all the time which was a manual.

I just turned in a 2011 E63 AMG Merc with the naturally aspirated 6.3L V8. Only thing missing was a manual gear box, sadly not an offering. A couple of cars ago I had a 2003 M5 with the 6 speed manual. It was the E39 body style, a true classically designed automobile - what a great car. It was really stupid of me to sell that car. Cars like these deserve manual trannies.

My daughter drives a SLK 230 Kompressor Roadster. It's a (canary) sunburst yellow hardtop convertible. I think it's about 1998-1999 vintage. The first time I drove it, I couldn't find reverse to save my soul.

This time of year it's usually parked in the garage and she drives the 4 wheel drive Jeep. No pics of my daughter.
