I don't think the amount of development that the DC is directly responsible for is quite as pronounced from HS -> college (P5) as it is P5 -> NFL.

Most of the "development" that occurs there is physical

I don't get the whole aggie deal. First they run away from Texas' shadow and they come to the sec and constantly lob stones in all directions. It really is sad. Like a younger sybling begging for attention.

Meanwhile Mizzou comes in and quietly wins the east.
