I like the Hawks, but not enough to actually care what they do, so I'm not taking a shot at them whatsoever.

But, are they really 31-8 good or are they just doing work in the regular season. It is hard to tell with the Hawks.

After tonight they will be 15-5 away and 16-3 @ home.

Like the 1993-94 Hawks with Danny Manning.

Only watched a handful of games. I saw when they blew out Cavs and also saw when they got destroyed by the Cavs.

I just want to know if this ball can translate to the playoffs. That's my only problem.

Sure why not? About a 40 game sample size, so they must be.

Yes. Have a great record against the West and have no players who kill them when they're on the court. That's one of the biggest things a team can have.

What do you mean by "this good"? They are killing it right now and have beaten several other top tier teams recently. Are they legit contenders? Who knows...it's a long season and anything can happen in the playoffs. We could get the number one seed and get Cleveland in the first round and that team could finally figure it out.

I don't think the ECF is unreasonable though

More along the lines of what I was saying. They've beat numerous top-of-the-west teams. After they beat Memphis and Portland is when I really started to wonder if they could do something.

10 straight wins
24-2 since Thanksgiving
21-6 vs the East
10-2 vs the West

Yeah they're pretty good

You must be late to the party. Hawks are a top 3(probably 2, but giving Portland some credit even though we beat them) NBA team.

You asked if their play translates to the playoffs. The answer is that their offense is exactly what you need to win playoff games.

Overall: They are really good.

It wasn't a slight. Just meant that they have as good a shot as anyone in the conference to advance to the Finals. It's not like they have to unseat the MJ Bulls or something.

Yeah man they might be the second most fun team to watch in the NBA(Warriors). Hopefully they keep it up

I wish more people could watch them. I live out of market with people who never see us and they still aren't sold. I don't know what it takes to get a national TV game.

Has ATL even played an ESPN Wed/Friday prime time game? or TNT. Every time I have to watch them on Fox Sports South
