Simply put, LSU football was getting stale and needed a jolt

Apathy would have been a bad thing to set in. Tiger fans and the players will be helped by this new enthusiasm.

We know Coach O is an enthusiastic guy, and I am hearing on the radio that Steele is pretty firery himself. We need some of that.

No, we need an offense and somebody that will actually find a way to use the talent we have on offense. Not real sure any of this news fixes the problem.

SO the jolt the program needed was a downgrade at DC and adding Ed? Not trying to be an arse, but the jolt needed to happen on the offensive staff.
