A Texas prison bus carrying 15 people veered onto railroad tracks and was hit by a train on Wednesday, prison officials said, with local media reporting at least 10 people were killed.

The bus was traveling from Abilene to El Paso with 12 inmates and three corrections officers aboard when it skidded off a highway, the Texas Department of Criminal Justice said.

This story would be so much better if it was a busload of DeathRow inmates. The lawsuit of the families would be interesting.

The bus skidded off of an overpass and slid down an embankment and then hit the train. Wasn't a train slamming into a bus.

Alright, listen up, people. Our fugitive has been on the run for ninety minutes. Average foot speed over uneven ground barring injuries is 4 miles-per-hour. That gives us a radius of six miles. What I want from each and every one of you is a hard-target search of every gas station, residence, warehouse, farmhouse, henhouse, outhouse and doghouse in that area. Checkpoints go up at fifteen miles. Your fugitive's name is Dr. Richard Kimble. Go get him

Midland-Odessa CBS 7 News reports that 2 Correctional Officers and 8 prisoners have died with several at the hospital. The RR tracks run alongside the interstate in that area.

??? What bullshite statement? That is what is being reported. I just watched the 12:00 news and the same is being reported. The bus went off an bridge/overpass and fell onto the train as reported on the local news.
