He's a moron when it comes to X and O's, but he's maybe the most elite recruiter in the country outside of Saban. He is also a good DL coach that brings crazy energy to a team and an aggressive style.
Tough, motivator, great recruiter, energetic, and aggressive as all get out. Glad he isn't running the defense, but glad he's on the staff. I just hope we don't get caught cheating in recruiting

I don't know much about him outside of his yaw yaw exterior. He comes off as a bumbling redneck version of Peter Griffin. I just hope that there's more to him than that.

Ogeron certainly seemed to right the ship at USC after they let Kiffin go. HE was also the staff member that they looked to to take over as interim. Plus he has recruited and coached several monster DLs in the past (USC/Miami).
Steele, hired not once but twice by Saban. Saban doesn't hire anyone out of charity, he obviously thinks the man has something to offer.

Sid, well put. Saban's not into charity cases. This may not be the big name everyone was looking for, but he's a good recruiter and LB coach.
