Yeah but Chavis just kept him around to brush his mustache. He never really like him it was assigned or something like that. There is nothing good about this guy. According to most people on this board he never should have been born much less be able to grace Tiger stadium with that resume of his. Who is his dad he must be related to someone on the BOD or he never would have gotten the offer. Or some other BS to that nature is sure to follow.

I didn't know that until today when I read about it in an old article. The article said they talk everyday. It's very strange that Steele took Chavis' old job. And obviously, Chavis took a job at a place that doesn't win as much, so there was some problem in Chavis' eyes. I'm sure Chavis told him the reason he left if they are that close. Weird.

I don't know either but that makes it sound like it was personal and would in no way affect the new coach.
