I've said 2014 was our worst overall team since 1999, but looks like the defense will be 1999 caliber too.

Reading thru some of the posts on here if they are representative then a handful are happy with the Hire, but then again if Miles told them to jump they would respond with "How High". Ive never seen such blind allegiance to a Coach rather than to the program. Notonly on here but every Tiger fan that I have talked to today , friends and family members numbering 10 are absolutely sick with this Hire.

If your friends and family are absolutely sick with this hire you need new friends and family.
I have to say though I've enjoyed watching and reading the geniuses on the board the last few weeks. Shows where everyone's priorities are.

I'm 44 years old. I've never complained about any fans anywhere. Never said nor wrote the words positiger or negatiger until just now.
But I have to confess, this is sooo disappointing. All of these fans complaining about something that they really know nothing about. Unless some of you know these dudes. I've yet to see anything of substance.
I'm a lowly HS coach. What's important and overlooked when talking assistant coaches is how well the coach can work with them.
Anyways, the HIRING IS OKAY WITH ME. BUT THE FANS ON THIS BOARD ARE THE ONES WORRYING ME.

I'm all for giving the guy a chance, but you have to have some gut instinct regarding the hire. Satisfied? Underwhelmed? I don't think anyone would have picked him out of the list of reported candidates. In fact, I'm willing to bet he was pretty far down that list for most people, if not at the very bottom.

I don't hate it, but I hate that it has come to this. Highly respected DC leaves us for a division rival and Miles / Aleva dick around a couple weeks to hire a LB coach with a suspect reputation.
