So Steele was at Clemson from 2009-2011. His 2009 defense was ranked 25th in scoring D, and gave up 315 yards per game. His 2010 defense ranked 13th in scoring D and gave up 320 yards per game. His 2011 defense ranked 81st in scoring D while giving up 394 yards per game. Does anyone know what happened that last year?

He had a mental breakdown according to some. Sign me up. No pressure in the Big League Death Valley.

I mean, those numbers from his first two years don't look horrible. They could be better, yes, but maybe he's not as bad as we think he is.

if he's that dependent on Senior leadership he'll do just great at Les Miles' 3 years and gtfo NFL factory

West Virginia hanging 70 points and nearly 600 yards in the Orange Bowl tends to inflate those numbers a bit.

All you need to do is look at Baylor vs UNLV 1992 to see what type of coach Steele is

Lmao. Let's look at one game 23 years ago to know what kind of coach he is today....

If you learned from mistakes then Steele earned a PhD while coach at Baylor
