quote:
Lewis’ nonfiction tome tells the story of the build-up of the housing and credit bubble during the 2000s that led to the financial crisis of 2007-2010. Paramount had no comment.
Holy waste of talent. Like watching paint dry

Adam McKay seems like an odd choice to direct such an A-list project.

He's a good writer who can make complex, technical subjects interesting, and other books of his have been turned into successful moviesm ie, The Blind Side, Moneyball. It's a hell of a story and far from boring.

Michael Lewis is a great writer. While I have not read this book, I have read some of his other stuff, which is fantastic.

The movie adaptation of The Blindside was a total abortion. Completely ignored all shite about Orlando Pace and Lawrence Taylor and the economics of football with relation to impact on how the game was played. Moneyball was a much better adaptation of its respective book counterpart.
