Russian economy is tanking HARD and the dude destroyed the Nets thinking he had more money than god.
With them hemmoraging money, I'm not surprised he's bailing.
They will sell for a lot but not what he expects, mostly because of the teams unmanageable situation.

Their payroll is so fricked over the next two seasons that it's going to have to affect what he can get for the team. Plus DWill is making $23m in 16/17, which is a pretty awful contract to have when the team finally gets some cap space. It's going to have to be a patient owner that knows that the team is going to be both bad and expensive for at least 2 more years.

I still don't understand how they were so bad that first year with Pierce and KG. They had like every solid player I hated in the NBA. Tons of great role players, and everything.

that seems like a pretty short term consideration... you're getting a franchise in NYC with a new arena... they should go for at least half of what the Clippers did
