Seems like a pretty odd location for Dat Dog. Being in the mall kinda defeats the purpose of having that outdoor atmosphere that the others have.

I guess they won't be dog friendly. The food court could use another option. I know they have Sbarro's and everything but the options are pretty weak for a premier mall. I'll eat at Byblos and Chickfila but that's about it. The addition of beer makes me very happy.

I would Dat Dog would hold themselves to a higher standard than that. But I guess once it boils all down it's about the money.

I think it is great that they want to be in JP but starting at the mall is a terrible choice, at least for me. I never go to the mall unless I have to. It will probably do well with all the moms and kids but if it doesn't, it will be all "oh well, we gave JP our best shot and it didn't work out. Peace out JP!"

I actually eat lunch at the mall about twice a month. In fact I'll probably go today because I need something from Hot Topic. I like being able to grab a bite and then make a hot lap around the mall. Nice to stretch the legs out after sitting in front a CPU all day.

Interesting. Now that you say it, if I was closer I'd probably love walking laps in there during the day, especially on bad weather days.
