If you take 70 people at random there is a 99.9% chance two of them will have the same birthday but that # doesn't reach 100% unless you have 367.

Leap year son and you need 2. Also, with just 23 random people there is a 50/50 chance that 2 will have the same birthday.

It's a guaranteed certainty that two people out of ANY 367 will share a birthday? Yeah, I'm calling total BS on that.

I think it's pretty funny when people react with surprise that another person shares their birthay.

seriously it's not very unlikely

Ever hit someone, ever sped more than 20 over, ever smoked weed, ever put an incorrect # down by accident on your taxes etc. There are a LOT of things that are felonies, some people don't even know about.

I have another one for you - "birthdays" are really anniveraries of birth - to celebrate the year, for example, you would have to have the party the day before the birthday.

For example, Elvis Aaron Presley was born on January 8th, 1935. He was living his 365th day on January 7th, 1936.

Because we don't start counting at the "Zeroth" of anything - zero is a placeholder - a null digit, if you will.

I remember reading this in a statistics and probability textbook. I don't remember how the math works out. It really is kind of trippy stuff.
