These guys don't and never seemed to ENJOY playing with eachother. Seems like the type of team that shows up to practice then peaces out until the next time they have to show up at the gym:

Holliday -- timid, laid back west coast cat married to a white soccer player. 10M/yr

Gordon -- black hillbilly stuck in his college years. 15M/yr

Tyreke -- hard, likes to smoke hookah and guzzle patron. 11M/yr

Asik -- Turkish import 10M/yr

Anderson -- Soft, NoCal nerd who had to deal with some crazy shite 9M/yr

Jimmer -- Morman import

Ajinca-- French import

Babbitt -- west coast stoner

Cunningham -- hard, ain't getting paid Jack shite....biggest hustle guy on the team

Withey -- underrated, laid back white cat

Davis -- Franchise

Just a bunch of individuals who at the end of the day don't give a frick bc they're all pillaging double digit millions. The only players who show half decent hustle are AD, Cunningham and Withey....one is the 3rd best player in the world and the other two are the lowest PAID players on the team.

Dell completely botched the roster, and neutered it of any up and coming talent. Therefore our fat cat players can rest easy knowing their minutes will be there if they mail it in or not. Having a coach that treats these guys like they've won two championships and doesn't put BOOTS TO ASSES doesn't help either

Keep Holliday, Davis, Cunningham, Withey.....YOU can have the rest

This is a majority of NBA teams.

1. Basketball is their job.

2. They seem like a unified group to me.

Tyreke plays very hard and always plays through injury. He's really showing signs of maturing and being a team player. "Tyrec" as GI loving calls him has been really absent lately.

Jrue should play more aggresive when tyreke's on the bench and I'm pretty confident in him.

EG has also really matured and played well since coming back.

Ryno/Asik are worrying me a bit(oh btw asik makes 8.3 mil)

I don't get the up and coming talent comment. Why would any player that's really worth his salt be worried about looking over their shoulder? If anything these guys would embrace those guys if they contribute. Scaring players causes rifts and other issues.

No one would be complaining about the roster if we had 21-22 wins right now under a competent coach. It's being used as a scapegoat.

Monty is the problem, not really dell.

Then why wait until now to address it? It illustrates the incompetence.

Well I don't think that comment doesn't mean they dislike each other. I am confused. I thought what was being said is they don't care to be around each other. While I don't think this is incredibly important I feel like they are fine with their teammates.

The other shite is just poor coaching. If they are not playing well together on the court that is a coaching issue. This is evident when they lose focus on the court and teams go on runs against them or they stall on offense. That is a deflection by Monty as his whole job is to manage that and he has been horrible at it in game.

Monty doesn't call timeouts corrextly, he doesn't show real emotion on the sideline, he makes horrible adjustments, and horrible rotations. Basically listen to David Wesley as he has pointed out the stupid shite lately. When you watch other coaxhes they do not act like Monty does on the sideline. You can see some of the things he does that Popovich does, but this team isn't the deep veteran team the Spurs have in San Antonio.

None of these players have been part of a winning franchise. And Monty isn't doing anything to change that. And until we bring in a new coach and GM that can change the culture of this team we will continue to under-perform.

Its frustrating as hell as fan. You see the flashes of how good this team could be if they come to play every single night, but that isn't happening. And it starts at the top. There is just zero leadership on this team from the coaches or the players.

If you weren't our Benson insider I'd look at this as normal venting. But since you are our Benson insider, if Dumars and Avery are saying what this team needs is more kumbaya, I'm pretty concerned. Demps and Monty both have some serious problems and it looks like they probably shouldn't last the year, but the only meaningful part of your list was:

Holliday -- timid

Davis -- Franchise

This team lacks leadership. AD is still a kid that is more comfortable staying at home coloring SpongeBob while breaking down game film with the recently departed Russ Smith than taking the team out to dinner.

This team is at it's best when it defends well and can get in transition, it's at it's worst when it has to create offense in the half court. CP3 ain't walking back through that door anytime soon so upgrading the defense to compliment Holiday/Davis and the Turkish Import makes the most sense.

Bird - Indiana hick gym rat. Keeps to himself

Parish - Silent Shreveport brother.

McHale - Midwesterner with a post game.

Ainge - Mormon import ...

You get the picture. All teams are composed of individuals who may or may not be big friends off the court and who come from different backgrounds. I don't disagree with some of your descriptions but I disagree that it matters. Getting individuals to pull together and coalesce as a team is perhaps the most important part of coaching.

by the way, the Spurs roster looks like the United Nations, and they do just fine.
