but can we really blame les? The BBQ scene in Baton Rouge is atrocious. He's got to get it from somewhere

Wait, I thought Ensminger was the BBQ guy? If not, WTF does Ensminger do? He got paid $25K for every pass one of his TEs caught this year.

Ensminger is in a league of his own. Doesn't need mentioning. Peveto is legit though. While most college staffs would do anything to have a ONE top tier BBQ'er on staff, LSU is blessed with having two. Kinda makes the decline sting less when you put it that way.

In all seriousness though, BDP is known for knocking out killer apps/sides on the grill and ole Steve brings out the brisket for the main event.

Are you blaming the TE's coach for his tight ends never getting the ball thrown to them? It's not like they are dropping passes, staying covered, or anything of that sort.

I question having a position coach for a position we simply use as an extension for the OL. Seems to me a combo anf your WR and OL coach could handle those duties.

Many of the things steve is credited with doing could be handled from an admin role

Well we have like 18 of them on scholarship.

Acutally, I've thought we should just hire another offensive line coach in that spot.

According to the 24/7, Ensminger is on staff due to his connections and reputation throughout the state

What's frustrating is that time after time in articles, you see a paragraph-long quote from a recruits parent(s) on how he or she grew up with Frank Wilson, or just the fact he or she goes way back with Wilson. Frank is the recruiting Carnegie on winning friends and influencing people. However, you never hear anything along those lines about Ensminger

Point being: with O and Wilson, I think LSU is plenty connected throughout the state without Ensminger

A. We pay a lot of money for a position coach for a position we don't use.

B. They had drops.

If you were kidding, I apologize. I'm extra salty at the end of the work day.

Not likely. He's the poster child for how not to react to allegations when you're the AD at a major college. Seriously...in probably every board room, government office, fill-in-the-blank entity dealing with a possible crisis situation, there's always somebody who will voice the following: "hey, let's not go overboard just yet. We don't want to end up like Duke Lacrosse."

And LSU went out and hired him. Good job, LSU.

He's the primary recruiter for both Teuhuma brothers. Has a great relationship with them and their family. He also helped recruit Jamal Adams, was the primary recruited for Tre'Davious White.

So it sounds like you're not listening.

Yes, word is he is a decent coach, good recruiter, and all around nice guy. Will never be forgiven by our fan base for his role in the "Malveto Experiment". That is pretty much it, that and he will be wearing Purple and Gold next year.
