Here is my background if that matters:
I have a background in sales (non-commissioned) both inside and outside. I now work in supply chain and I will start my MBA in the fall. (part-time evening) My background has been with both a large fortune 500 company and a small business (<50 employees). I am back with my original company I started with (large company).
I'm just looking for something that may be helpful or insightful to read in my spare time.

Maybe check out Business Adventures by John Brooks.
I started it this weekend and have enjoyed it so far.

Not business related, but extremely interesting, easy, and will make you think about life in many ways you may not have. You could read this book in 2 hours on a flight, but it's one of the best books I have ever read. Matches the criteria of helpful and insightful.

Who Moved My Cheese is a good recommendation.
Moving into SCM, I would read The Goal if you haven't.
