Yes I do. Ronaldo had a great year. In a WC year you should be judged on how you did at the WC. Ronaldo scored 1 goal in 3 games and didn't make it out of group play. Messi carried Argentina to the final. Neuer is a little harder to sell because of his position but he had a fantastic WC. This is the biggest tournament in the world in any sport and Messi and Neuer did more during it. Also Muller should get more consideration he did score almost 30 goals last season and had a great WC.

Why should the WC be the deciding factor for the winner of a year-long award? It was a max of 7 games. Those 7 should not discount the other 40+ possible games.
Müller got 5th. That is definitely a very high place. Out of Ronaldo, Messi, Neuer, and Robben who is less deserving than Müller?

He played every game up to the quarterfinal and most of it.
In said quarterfinal without Dimaria and Higuain......Argentina May not make it to the semis.
ETA You are also disregarding the fact that Ronaldo outpaced Messi and Neuer in UCL and it wasn't close.....which is arguably the most respected soccer competition in the world....and also outpaced Messi in La Liga which is arguably the 2ND best league in the world. So I'm not sure where the argument is. If you look at the votes chart above it appears most voters agree with me.

How many goals did Argentina score in the knockout rounds? How many did Messi score?
Obviously goals aren't everything a player does, but to score 0 in the knockout rounds doesn't necessarily constitute as carrying your team.

Messi scored 0 goals in the knockout rounds. The team as a whole scored 2 in 4 games and one of those was in ET. That means 3 out of the 4 games they scored 0 goals in the 90' so you can't even argue his presence was a factor.
