Kirby Smart would be a mole for Saban and Bama. His mission: destroy us from the inside.

Les Miles has lost all control of this team, so that won't be necessary.

Tucker is about to be fired from his third team (Browns, Jags, Bears).

He was not fired individually from Browns or Jags. He did very well at both stops, but they hired new Head Coaches that brought their guys in.

He almost got the head coaching gig in Jacksonville.

Tucker has been terrible in Chicago for the last two years. Let go from his two previous jobs before that.

His career trajectory is on a downward spiral and he is warmed over death. If not for being a Rooney candidate, he would have nothing to do now.

He wasn't fired from the Browns or Jaguars.

He wasn't retained after the Browns fired their head coach. The new guy put someone else in.

He called the defensive plays in 2011 for Jacksonville. They were 4th in the league. He then was interim coach as Del Rio was canned. The next season he stepped down from defensive coordinator and was the assistant head coach I think. Then he went to the Bears.

So he had two great stints, and then a bad one in Chicago. However, Chicago didn't have a lot to work with.

Pretty sure this is the trip to Chicago. Looks like they were on the ground a little over 4 hours...

LINK

(looks like another 90%er!)

Everyone knows that's Saban's defense. And in their last 3 loses, it's been their defense that went tard. And that's a defense stockpiled with 5 star after 5 star

I don't know that he is, and I don't know how much stock to put into these rumors, but wouldn't that be a logical reason as to why Smart may be looking elsewhere?

Yup maybe smart doesn't agree with Saban's hands all over it..

He would have freerer range here to build his legacy than the current path.

I would much much prefer smart over tucker

Tucker is the first desperation candidate in this DC search. He really needs the job. I'm sure he will fight hard to get it.

Is it a good thing that none of the "insiders" are here to confirm or deny?
