Westbound traffic will be diverted off I-12 at Livingston (LA 63) to Florida Blvd., and back on to I-12 at Walker.

Recover? Just light it on fire.

At least they decided to wait until after rush hour traffic to recover it.

Yet they deliver everything that you buy at stores you shop at.

Life as you know it wouldn't be possible without them, but yea they suck.

I don't understand how that requires the closure of the entire interstate for 2 hours.

No yeah, I know I need them. But they still suck.

More often it is cars doing stupid shite causing the 18 wheelers to wreck

Probably because it's going to take multiple tow truck rigs to pull a loaded rig out of the woods. That takes more space than just the shoulder of the road, especially when those lanes are narrowed in the construction zone where there is no shoulder.

Spot on...................

They need to get Gordon and get it done.
At least it doesn't sound like this one hurt anyone. There's a reason all these shysters can make such a good living around here. Friendly courts and regular screwups by 18 wheelers.
ETA: I'd like to see a law state-wide like they have on the Basin bridge-trucks restricted to right lane only. Just like it did on that stretch, I bet we'd see far fewer accidents involving big rigs.

Example: watch what the chinstrap douchebags from WBR do to the rigs that are in the eastbound middle lane on the i10 bridge in BR. They'll do 70 through the curve then cut the truckers off in their blind spot - if they're not looking for the tards then they'll hit them. Happens at least five times per week because people aren't patient to merge.

The woods are off the right lane with no shoulder in a construction zone, how would that have helped here?
My suggestion - quit throwing up construction zones with lanes swerving left and right. 12 has been an absolute mess with that for the last decade.

18 wheelers still go 70+ mph in the left lane on the basin bridge baw

I sat in traffic this morning for that shite when it happened

it doesn't matter they don't follow these laws anyway.
