I've been shopping around for auto insurance since I moved to Texas. I received quotes from Geico, Progressive, Esurance, and State Farm. Geico was by far the cheapest. I made sure that the coverage was identical with each, so this is an apples to apples comparison. Geico was barely more than half as much as the others. Has anyone else ever had a similar experience with Geico or another company? I feel like this rate is too good to be true. Is there anything I should look out for here?

Fwiw I'm 23, living in Houston, minimal car usage, and clean driving record. Thanks for the help.

Geico is fine. As long as you have a major insurance company, always go with the cheapest quote. I have geico and they were great the one incident I had. I'm sure for some they have been bad.

Geico was a lot cheaper for me as well. Been with them two years now with no rate hikes.

i recently shopped all the big names and progressive was the cheapest for me, so i went with that. after doing some research, i found that geico has the highest rated customer service, and in hindsight i should have probably paid a little more to go with them.

I've used Geico for a while. Cheapest for me as well. Haven't used it outside of a windshield ding. Fine for that.

I also live in Houston and we found that Liberty Mutual/Safeco was the cheapest for us. We used an independent insurance agent to help us find the lowest/best company for us.
