Which do you like better, Beatles or the Stones?

While my favorite song between the two is Helter Skelter I'd still have to go with the Stones.
Paint It, Black is musically one of the best songs ever written. Sympathy for the Devil, Wild Horses, and Angie are also three of the best songs ever written.
My favorite Beatles songs aside from Helter Skelter are I Am the Walrus, Strawberry Fields Forever and Happiness is a Warm Gun.
I wish they had more songs in the style of Helter Skelter, that is a great song.

Pretty close between them and The Stones, Immigrant song is maybe the most rocking song of all time.
I would put the Stones slightly above Led Zeppelin, that's a very close one for me.

I prefer the Stones. But that's certainly no knock on the Beatles. And I also concede that the Stones basically had about 20 years of creative relevancy; while the Beatles' entire recorded catalogue only took about seven years.

I am not a big Robert Plant fan, but the I really like the music in some of their songs. Jimmy Page, John Bonham, and John Paul Jones were all great musicians and songwriters.

God damn I get told this question every day. 
Both are awesome bands, two of the best of all time, but to me, I give the slightest slightest edge to the Rolling Stones.

Definitely the Beatles. Stones were better rockers but Beatles were so much more talented than their contemporaries. They were the trailblazers.
