Get a gopro and one of their mounts. Great for this purpose. I was trying to take pictures on my ipad on the beach like an a-hole.

A cheap one. You'll end up throwing it in the ocean in a fit of rage, so you don't want anything too expensive.

Well for a honeymoon, I could see it being not a horrible idea. Who doesn't want lots of pictures together on their honeymoon. If you are in some foreign country you may not feel comfortable asking someone to take a picture for you.

Yep. I saw people using them over Christmas, they were all couples or bigger groups. I don't even know they were called selfie sticks, that's fricking stupid

Yup...many work with remotes(I'm assuming they sync up with the phone's Bluetooth)
