I don't know where the blame goes but MCC is a joke. It was the biggest regret purchase I've made in gaming, just a straight money grab.
At least Microsoft makes some good stuff, 343 has only fricked up Halo each time they try and make one. They just need to give the franchise to somebody else at this point but they can't because they're knee deep into 5.

Yep. Couldn't join my friend's Halo lobby. Restarted and then couldn't even see my friend online in Halo.

This is the biggest example of it, no time or dedication put into any of it. The games run better on the original Xbox and 360. The should have just remade Halo 2 and stopped there. Instead they tossed the other three in without giving a frick.

I was OK with no backwards compatibility this gen, then they started with all the remaster... I would rather backwards compatibility

Yeah especially when the older games run better.
I was happy to play The Last of Us though, didn't have a PS3 at the time it came out. That's really the only exception for me.

They have done well with some but with backwards compatibility you could have just played that version. I'm a big last of us fan but we didn't really need that remaster other than to fill in slow time.

I would have been fine playing the PS3 version. I wish both companies would have made a more expensive option with backwards compatibility.

It's obvious why they didn't though. Luckily I still have my fat ps3 with BC. I just wish I could play original xbox games.

I'm kinda glad now I didn't get the Xbone. This was one of the big draws for me to get it and it's apparently a turd more times than not.

Idk why its so bad for you but Im able to play just fine, every so often i have to reset the build but its not that bad. only thing they need to fix now is BTB and add more ranked stuff
