Stadiums/teams are ruining the in-game experience for fans

Tonight the PA announcer at the LSU/Mizzou game in Missouri is unbearable.
The Saints had that God-awful siren before every 3rd down (lots of NFL teams have it actually, but the Saints' timing and use of it was the worst that I heard).
These are just two examples - why are stadiums and teams dumbing down the in-game experience for fans? Sports don't need this crap - we like the games and the action. We don't need to be treated like we have sub 80 IQ's and are fans of pro wrestling.

I was noticing that he is terrible.
Part of it might be that there is no one at this game so you can hear him so well.

I hate PA announcers who think they are radio announcers.
And I hate overloud music blared at any and all opportunities.

Becoming more & more tempting to either stop driving 500 miles rt for games or just stay outside the stadium in the motorhome (football). I don't go to bball or baseball.

I own a nice TV, high Def package, brew my own beer, and buy my own snacks. There is no reason for me to go to games. Hell I can even pause to take a piss.

I'll still go because it's fun, but I don't buy tix directly (when I can get better deals off of stubhub, only had one exception(Rose Bowl). But yeah, home is more comfortable. I can be as drunk/sober as I want at home, Pee/Poop when I need to, eat quality food.

NBA games are the worst. They never stop the music or noise. Something is ALWAYS playing.
