A friend of mine killed this stud yesterday. He's getting it green scored this afternoon. Any guesses?





The back story is the best part...

He had one buck tag left. He was hoping for anything with horns for sausage meat and he had seen a few spikes in the area. This guy steps out first thing. They had never seen this buck before...

No brow tines, 16 inch spread. Damn fine deer, but he won't net more than 140

I'd say gross mid 160's. Not a great spread but nice tine lengths and mass. I'll defer to some of you Texas hunters though.
