He is all LSU and but said that
He will visit Texas just to take a look but I would be shocked if he's not a Tiger

He's a good kid. Going to be fun to watch him in an LSU uniform.

That is what I got from it too.He didn't want to say much about where he stood, but then went on about how he can't wait to be in the back field with our current RBs. I think he is all LSU.

Texas is looking to nab Chris Warren which would add to the two RB commits they already have. They also picked up 2 RB commits last year and Jonathan Gray is coming back. His situation is pretty much the same with either school he goes to. Hopefully it's LSU.

I covered multiple games that J-Gray played in, in high school and I honestly can't believe he has done virtually nothing at Texas.

Let's just forget about our QB woes and adopt a running attack like Navy or gtech we already have the personnel might as well embrace it

Throw some flexbone.... Double wing.... Triple option in there

Best fourth string RB in the nation, hands down. Knows that he can do some damage with 5 touches per game after the three ahead of him have worn out the defense. Can't wait!

Serious question... Isn't their O infinitely worse than LSU's? Certainly their run game is. I think the rant could field 5 better o-linemen. Course I only saw a couple games. Wasn't impressed. NB won't have near the success @ LOLtexas imho.

I wonder if he would consider red shirting ??? No way he gets more than 1-2 carries a game and runs down on kicks next year.

Our stable of backs will be second to none if he ends up signing with us.

Possibly...

But we only have a few RBs wkth Brossette. If he's RS, we would be thin there. And if Ducre plays FB, we would only have LF, Guice, and DWill.

IMO, none of Guice, Brossette, and Ducre redshirt and they all play. And that's a selling point for them to get here.

I think Texas is probably one of the only other programs that LSU can claim a better quarterback situation than.

Agree about Gray. Kid looked like he was gonna be a big time back. Lots if issues have played a factor I believe. They have no qb or threat of a passing game. He had a major injury that can have a major effect on how he plays now. Their OL has been horrendous. Just pure unhappiness and all the bad vibes in that program during his career. Malcolm Brown was another stud that has done only average since he's been there.

He did say something positive about the depth of RB's at LSU. He mentioned that the average shelf life of an NFL running back is 2 years and that he had no problem splitting time in the backfield at LSU since he would end up putting less miles on his legs with the hopes of having a longer NFL career.

OL was truly horrible this year, and he got hurt last year, but he also hasn't hit higher than 4.9 ypc in any year even though he has had no less than 146 carries in any of his 3 years.

ETA: When I looked it up, he has actually been decent compared to every runningback since Jamaal Charles. Don't know what it is about Texas, bit they have either very crappy running backs, or their OL has been crappy for years

Yep lol. After looking at their stats, he'd do better here in the long run. Maybe that was a Mack Brown thing IDK, but they haven't had a RB worth anything for a while now. Haven't had a #1 RB clear 5 ypc since Jamaal Charles.

I love the way Brossette runs and I think he sticks with the good guys. Kid also is a great story.
