I think we stand very good with Lyle. I'm not sure on his timeline, but he would have to get excited to see LSU get Victor also. Would really help with our post issues. At worst, he can play defense against post players. At best, he is a guy who can average double figure scoring and 8+ boards in a role that will really help next year's team win championships.

I think Lyle is ours, it's just a matter of when, especially after getting Blakeney. Those two and Simmons have talked numerous times about playing together, were on campus the same weekend in the fall and seem adamant about it.

Victor, if he does come, would help our transition after next year, which will be steep assuming Blakeney and Simmons are one and doners, as well as Mickey and/or Martin if they return after this year

Please forgive me if this is a stupid question, but why do we want Lyle? He is not ranked on ESPN. Is he just been hidden, and they don't know about him?

Lyle was a 2014 recruit who didn't qualify. He was a Top 50 overall player.

He was not accepted into Oregon. He qualified for D1 basketball by NCAA standards. An important distinction.

Edit: I read this months ago. Rosetta's article said the NCAA blocked him because one of his credits. That would be news to me. Regardless, he had good enough grades.

Suddenly it is 1988 on the LSU basketball RB.
Go figure.

Most people think he's UCLA bound. The addition of Blakeney may have hurt our chances even more. All these kids wanna play right away now.

Not that what these recruiting sites is set in stone, but it doesn't even have Arizona on his interests? Just a thought

But I agree that Blakeney probably hurt the chances and I am perfectly fine with that.

Does anyone else think Lyle looks a little overweight or is that just his body type?

Watching his highlights he just looks a little large, but wasn't sure if it was just the players he was going up against making him look bigger or if he could afford to shed some pounds

I love his game and his passing ability his amazing for a player his age

Ben Love (scout) put out a free article. UCLA isn't in his top 3.
