Good with safeties, inside linebackers, he's the head of recruiting at a school that pulls in talent galore, and they improved their defense big time as soon as he became coordinator.

Sounds like Brick now that I think about it. Lol.

It would be a solid hire IMO, but there's no telling whether or not LSU even knows the guy's name.

He's also been at Oregon as a player or coach since 1980, with the exception of the 1987 season and a three-year stint at Cal during the early '90s.

Why would a life-long Oregon Duck who has spent the entirety of his career at or within eight hours of Eugene suddenly leave the West Coast?
