It is becoming increasingly clear that this scenario will play out for DC...

Haley will be promoted and coach O hired as DL coach. After signing day, Chavis and Sumlin make room for Brick. Haley leaves and Les can take his time and make a better hire before Spring practice starts. This is better than making a bad hire for the sake of having someone in place because of kids visiting on the 15th.
It is no secret that Chief and Brick are as thick as thieves and chances are extremely high they will be together again at some point and time. That time will be sooner than later...

If Haley is promoted to DC why would he leave for assumingly less money and a demotion at A&M?

Or maybe Haley thinks Chavis' scheme is bullshite with placing emphasis on making his DL play contain and not pressuring the QB which in turn portrays Haley as an incompetent line coach.

Haley is already under contract...he is not owed any more than what he is already under contract for...he will merely be given the title for now. Remember guys, it is all about the signing day right now and this recruiting class.

I think the most likely scenario is brick and pevoto get promoted to co-coordinators. Bebe becomes DL coach
