The Ballad of Richard Jewell

Plot: "American security guard, Richard Jewell, heroically saves thousands of lives from an exploding bomb at the 1996 Olympics, but is unjustly vilified by journalists and the press who falsely report that he was a terrorist."

Supposed to be an intense heart-pounding thriller. We saw what director Paul Greengrass did with Captain Phillips and how intense he made that story.

Hill is playing this guy - LINK

DiCaprio is co-starring as well as producing.

Principal photography begins this month in Georgia & movie is set for a December release.

Amazing to see Jonah Hill go from SuperBad to the bankable actor he is now.

I thought he nailed the Moneyball roll and the serious work he is taking on is pretty impressive.

Should have won for What's Eating Gilbert Grape over Tommy Lee Jones for The Fugitive. All of his other roles are debatable.

DiCaprio is also starring in the Revenant directed by Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu, the guy who did Babel, Birdman, and Biutiful. Also stars Tom Hardy and this guy:

You may remember him from the masterpiece that is We're the Millers. Love that movie.

He was also in The Maze Runner.

He also gave a fantastic acceptance speech for the MTV "Best Kiss" award. LINK

As an Atlantan who followed the story in 96 and the Jewell saga after, I'm struggling to see this as a thriller

I thought the same thing. But if anyone can pull it off, it's Greengrass.

That's for The Revenant. Leo plays a frontiersman from the 1820s.
