Pretty good read. Warning though, it is a slideshow.

I am sure most of you cinema fans can guess over half of this list.

I felt good knowing I had not lied about seeing any of these.

I've seen the top 8.

Never had any inkling to watch Dirty Dancing and still have Great Escape on my list of must watch so I will likely see it soon.

Without looking, I'm gonna guess Citizen Kane is on that list simply because its really old and never on tv. I did see it on TNT once about 20 years ago though.

Just looked, kinda surprised to see Shawshank and Goodfellas considering how often they're on tv. I must have seen Shawshank at least 100 times over the years.

Kane is a great film, people would be surprised by how entertaining it is.

I've seen all but Great Escape, but how the frick can anyone lie about having seen Shawshank Redemption?

Haven't seen these:

Citizen Kane
Taxi Driver
Godfather Parts 2 and 3

I've seen the others but it's been a while for It's A Wonderful Life, Great Escape, and Dirty Dancing.

Shawshank is on tv so often that it should make a list of movies all of humanity has seen.

Citizen Kane is the only one I haven't seen, and probably the best of the group.

I wouldn't consider Dirty Dancing a classic or anywhere near classic.

Now, Roadhouse, that is a classic.

ROADHOUSE!

No reason to see Dirty Dancing or the third Godfather. Unfortunately, I did see them.

The rest are legit.

Can't imagine any man lying about seeing Goodfellas or Shawshank. Both are great movies you'd have to avoid to not see.

Wish more people had the opportunity to see The Great Escape. It is one that you'd have to stream or buy. TCM shows it, but not often. It's a great movie with a great cast.

Steve McQueen
James Garner
Richard Attenborough
Charles Bronson
Donald Pleasence
James Coburn

and a ton of European actors who's faces most might recognize.

Next time I notice them showing it, I'll alert the board.

I've seen 7 of the 10. I'm missing The Great Escape, Casablanca, and Dirty Dancing. I don't really have any desire to see Dirty Dancing. I'm only slightly embarrassed about having not seen Casablanca. I'll get around to it eventually. It just doesn't seem like the type of movie I would necessarily enjoy. The Great Escape seems about right up my alley as the type of movie I would enjoy. I just never think about it.

The one I can most understand being on the list is Citizen Kane. You kind of have to go really out of your way to watch it. It was almost just an accident that I've seen it. It's a Wonderful Life seems like it would be pretty hard ot miss. It's on a bunch throughout the holiday season.
