Yes, and MLS should pay the best American players above what they'd get elsewhere. It makes good business sense. It's an American league, and they want the best American players as their brand.

BUT, is it good for the USMNT? I mean besides for playing consistently, Jozy would be better off facing stiffer competition than what the MLS provides.

Only if hes getting mins, and im not sure hollands quality of D is that far off MLS. Would a german team be better? Maybe, if he can crack in, but as weve seen with jozy, confidence and routine goal scoring makes a huge difference in his national team form, obviously.

Dont care what he does, just play and score goals and feel like a beast.

When did playing in MLS hurt the national team?

It's entertaining that people folks praise Jurgen with all of their effort for the masterful work he did with the team AND shite all over MLS at every opportunity.

The core of this team WAS built by MLS - and that's excluding Beasley and Jones, who are in MLS now, and Geoff Cameron - who spent 5 years growing in MLS. And that's before we talk about all of the MLSers that contribute all of Jurgen, I mean, the team's success.

Which narrative are we chasing here? MLS is incapable of providing the US with players that allow them to compete?

Or Jurgen is such an omnipotent mastermind that he willfully crafts these would-be miscreants into world class soccer players in the 25(ish) days a year he has them under his spell?

Well Bradley was recruiting him as far back as the pre world cup camp when that John Hock/Roger Bennett series was shot.

I remember that actually elicited a smile from Bradley at how far fetched it was and Jozy's response

So it's possible Bradley will be servicing Jozy every day in training. Every MLS game.

We should be begging for this to happen for the sake of both and the USMNT.
