Gulf Breeze, Fl (Pensacola Beach area) Officer's daughter just happened to drive by and saw her dad on the ground. Sad and puts officer's lives in perspective.

He will be OK. Broken leg and foot from what I understand Video

Hope he gets better but is a broken leg and foot considered "serious" injuries? Seems to me that those would be considered moderate, non-life threatening injuries.

I believe I read this morning that he has a compound fracture in his arm as well.

In my book it does. Anything that makes you not be able to walk for a month would be a serious injury in my book.

The only good part of this is all the good people stopping to help him.

If this officer would have got hurt on here he would have been run over multiple times.

IWHI, and that's a Lexus SC, not a CV. They've never made a CV. I wonder if the daughter is hot too?

GCT, people don't wish bad on cops that are doing their jobs properly. They actually have full support of them. Blatantly abusing the law and their position is another thing. Stupid comment, and you are no Ken M

No one likes cops who do this. Thankfully it is a small percentage.

And we do have a lot of OT'ers that hate all cops.

"Moderate to serious" is the only acceptable descriptor

Yes, whenever an innocent person is unnecessarily injured it is sad, but not trying to be a dick, how does this put officer's lives into perspective? Many people are injured everyday doing their job, not sure why him being a cop makes it that much more sad.

If a garbage man fell off the back of a garbage truck and was injured, would you make a thread about how that puts garbage men's lives into perspective?

I understand people around here like to shite on cops, but these threads trying to overly sensationalize their jobs are just as bad.

His injuries can be considered serious, since a broken bone can increase the risk of clot formation leading to death. If his femur was broken, there would be the risk of internal hemorrhaging to the point of death. Any other pre-existing medical conditions he may have are a consider action also. An injury or illness alone cannot be the only focus of care. It can be very complicated.

Hope she goes to prison.

I wonder if a fine grit belt sander would cure what ails her?
