Die Hard with a Vengeance Alternate Ending

I'm sure this has been posted before but this is the first time I've seen this clip. Pretty dark scene for John McClane. Seems out of character and I can understand why they didn't use it...but its still a solid scene. Would've been awesome if they had used it and never did another Die Hard movie again.

Never seen that before. Glad you posted it.
But I hated it. WAY too much talking in a dark room. Would have taken away from the rest of the movie. I didn't really like the ending they used, but this one would have been worse.

that is interesting but it doesn't fit the die hard vibe at all. It would've been a great end to a crime drama but Die Hard is all about the action and that would've driven movie goers mad.

Which is why they never used it. Doesn't fit with the Die Hard movies at all. So I have no problem with them going with another ending.
That said, the one reason why I like it is that for the entire movie, Simon toys with John. That scene is all about John mindfricking Simon.
Kind of a shame how they messed up what was a quality trilogy with two more movies.

I didn't hate Live Free. It was way over the top but still fun. I've refused to see the last one.

Live Free wasn't bad. They should've taken out the scene where he's on the wing of the fighter jet. It was an action movie that just happened to be called Die Hard.
