When I'm on 3rd floor and up, I can feel the floor beneath me flex. Always creepy.

The parking lot always felt stable to me.

Which pay-by-the-hour hotel in Alexandria are you in?

I do as well...typically don't stay there again though, because if you can feel it flex, you can typically also hear people walking on the floor above you which pisses me totally off...

Every time I'm in the NOLA area I can feel the cement flex/shake when a large truck passes by. Same thing happens when stuck on the Mississippi River bridge in Baton Rouge.
Hotel flex doesn't bother me though.

I don't mind all the flexing, but I get pissed when they start talking to my girl.

Can't say I ever have. Just how fat are you?

I've stayed over 250 nights in hotels in the last 4 years and I have no clue what you're talking about...

Makes me have motion sickness just reading about it.

I rarely feel sway in buildings until I'm up 20+ floors.
There is an exception. Theres a client of ours on the 2nd floor of a small concrete building in Baton Rouge and I swear I can feel the place moving while on the 2nd floor.
Not sure what the deal with that is..

My first apartment in college was like that. It was old and shitty so maybe the floor was just giving in.
