recommend me some socks

I enjoy no shows and bought a set of good looking polo ankle socks and they're shite, paper thin and uncomfortable. I know there are Haynes plain whites that are thicker, but I want some with decent color patterns.
I'm looking for thick, comfortable, black/white/Gray socks. Any recs?

I don't know about color patterns, but these are the best socks I own, with nice weight and padding, and no palpable seams to bother the little piggies.

My brother got me a pair of wool socks for Christmas from gander mountain. Best pair of socks I own. Thought I lost one in the wash today. It was close to a travesty.

Man I'm such a fan of socks. It's one of my newfound obsessions. Although I've been sorta "collecting" socks since about 7th grade.
My favorite new pair is some Jumpman Dri-Fit. Bought my nephew a pair for basketball to match his uni and picked me up a pair also.

Smart Wool PHD and I also like the Under Armor heat gear ones as well. Also look at Darn Tough.
