That would explain why she's always up Peggy's arse. She begs Peggy live with and then near her, wants to hang out all the damn time, has been asking about Jarvis, and is willing to drop everything just to listen to Peggy about her day.

It would also be possible that she was the one who informed on Peggy's neighbor for having man above the 1st floor. She did happen know that house mom was about to go off on somebody.

Romanoff was the first Black Widow.

Unless they're talking about Claire Voyant, who is a different type of character altogether.

Now if they want to reverse it and make Yelena Bolova the first, that's fine too.

Makes sense... She's got the chops for it from Nikita.

considering she's wearing a name-tag for half of her scenes, I'm surprised at a few you calling her "waitress"...

didn't notice the song, but that is certainly a big red flag with Angie. I figured she bites it because she's Carter's friend or maybe she's working for Stark?(maybe she left the note on the table?)

We know that the SSR is the precusor to SHIELD and Carter is a founder of SHIELD, the SSR might be dirty as well.

Stark is not in bed with these guys, but he did found SHIELD, along with Col.Phillips. I think by the end of this series the SSR is dead.

Watching pilot on demand. Very good.

Caught up with all three episodes. They have done a very good job. Consistent with her character from CA and definitely doing what they can to give that "period" feel.

Best part of show to this point? Jarvis.

Was wondering the same thing. Did they can it after 2 episodes ?

Pretty sure there's one this week. And I believe it's just a mini series.

I cannot get interested in this show. I am forcing myself to watch it thinking something interesting is going to happen and it never does.

Next week the Howling Commandos show up so that might give the show a boast.

looks like her neighbor is the first Black Widow. Next episode should start tying into SHIELD.

The problem with this show, is that we know Stark and Peggy's future.

Technically Natasha Romanoff is the first BW. The blonde one, Yelena Bolova, is the 2nd.

Now it wouldn't bother me one bit if they flipped it.

Tonight's episode was certainly an upswing. If Agent Carter extends or the next decade is told with the beginnings of SHIELD, Dum Dum & the Howling Commandos should be bigger into it.

As for Carter, if I were a betting man, she ends up with Peg Leg(Sousa) and Thompson dies doing something heroic.

I guess I'm hoping for SHIELD to be formed by the end of this, but I'm liking even the boss Dooley is growing on me.

I don't know the background of Romanoff. Was that little girl her grandmother or something?

Not sure - but she definitely came from that school place. The takedown in the hall was done exactly like one in the movie just to emphasize "same thing" IIRC.

Brief aside.

Realized last night that the guy that plays the injured SSR agent (Sousa [Enver Gjokaj]) plays one of the NYPD cops in The Avengers in the scene where Capt. America is giving orders to the cops to move civilians and set up a perimeter.
