That's funny because their 15 minutes of fame is up

People have been saying that their 15 minutes was up for five years now. Then they get asked to be in the Macy's parade. Then they get a national tv spot the week of the Super Bowl.
It's not a group I ever want to belong to, but people like them still.

I've been. It's 80's/tacky prom themed. Super fun event. I like going to the walking Krewe parties, though. You get outgoing people who are loud and down for a good time. I did the Siren's Mermaid and Mayhem in October and thinking about doing the Pussyfooter's Blush ball this year.

Someone that already has tickets with a group of friends invited me go with them. So yes, I was invited.

Went last year, its a steal, great food and open bar for $40. No matter what people think about the group this is by far one of the best parties in the City each year, I think last year over 2,800 people attended. I think it was probably 60%-70% female, most between 25 and 40. Get there as close to 8 as possible so you can eat before drinking too much.
